Serving Our Neighbors

The foundational corporate expression of International Harvesters is Worship.   It is the primary function of their city-wide Harvest Rallies, that take place in the marketplace of a city. 

Worship that is real, genuine and from a pure heart.  [God loves to inhabit the praises of His people.  Like a very loving Father, He enjoys spending time with His children and giving them gifts.  That is just the way He is.  He loves to manifest His glory, His very presence and when that happens, those that are sick are healed, those that are downhearted are given joy and those that are in captivity to sin and darkness are set free.  The key to experiencing the fullness of God's manifested presence is a real, genuine, pure heart.  One that is not hiding any sin (missing the mark of walking in perfect love to others and ourselves), unforgiveness (holding things against others or ourselves that we or they have done or said) or bitterness (unfulfilled expectations that were not justly applied to ourselves, others and God).  As we simply acknowledge the condition of our hearts and confess such to a loving God in times of worship, He responds and brings His fullness into our lives.]

Worship, that is directed toward the Father's heart, in the Name of His Son and filled with the power of His Holy Spirit, His very presence and glory.  [God is a three part being that dwells in a perfect harmonious relationship between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, just as we are live out our life through our spirit, soul (mind, will & emotions) and body.  We are one being, but have three distinct parts that function in different areas of our life.  Our spirit relates to the supernatural world, our body relates to the natural world and our soul, which exists in both worlds, is what makes our being unique from others.  In the same way, the Holy Spirit relates to the supernatural world, the Son relates to the natural world and the Father is what makes God be God.  If we are going to worship God, then we enter His presence from this natural world through the reality of His Son (thanking Him for His Birth, Life, Death & Resurrection) wherein His Holy Spirit then enters into our natural world (manifesting His seven characteristics) and we then truly experience the Fullness of the Father's heart of love and life for us.]

Worship, that is experienced with two or more fellow believers in God.  [God loves families (nations).  He reveals much of His character through the life of families (i.e., Abraham, Isaac and Jacob).  The Nation of Israel was chosen by God, out of all the families (nations) of the earth, to reveal His Glory to all other families (nations) and that family was given insight into the character of God, so that we could experience Him personally and corporately.  As we worship God together as a family according to the Biblical pattern, He ministers His Grace and Mercy to our families and heals that wounds that are caused by living in a fallen world, which is under the power of the enemy.]

Worship, that is in the marketplace, that takes place in our community, outside of our homes and churches.  [God also loves cities. He reveals much of His character through the interaction of the different parts of what makes a city (i.e. Jerusalem), a living and loving community.   Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem, because of the injustice that was taking place within it's walls.  Since the Hebrew word for Work and Worship are the same, communities that are working properly to meet the needs of its citizens are functioning in love & justice and such honors the God of Justice and Love.  City that are not working properly produce the poor and through sickness and violence creates widows and orphans.  As we worship God corporately in the city, such releases His love and justice to heal the problems of that city, wherein the poor are restored to fullness, sickness and violence ends and the city's widows and orphans are cared for.]

Worship, that takes place within the context of testimony, wherein God is being glorified and exalted.  [Our world seeking for Truth and hungering for Reality.  They want to know what Life is really about.  Jesus said, "I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life."  There is no Truth, Reality or Life, outside of knowing the Creator of the Universe, the One who made us all to experience His Love and Light.  As we worship God in Spirit and in Truth, testifying to who God is and what He has done for us personally and corporately, then the world will receive Faith from the hearing of the Word of our testimonies and thus be able to approach God for eternity, the salvation of their souls.]

When a Harvester meets with other Harvesters at a Harvest Rally, they begin by gathering together (at a local meeting hall, hotel ballroom, arena or stadium, etc.) in upbeat praise & worship music led by a local worship music team that is gifted in bringing the presence of God to a meeting of believers.  This team can be from a local church or group of churches that regularly worships together or it can be made up of various Harvesters that are gifted musicians and have taken the necessary time to experience each others giftings, wherein they can flow together as one unit under the direction of the Holy Spirit as facilitated by the Harvest Rally Commanders that are conducting the rally.  Once most of the expected Harvesters have arrived, a selected Harvest Rally Commander corporately greets them with their families and friends and then shares the vision of International Harvesters.  Optional: After any necessary announcements have be made regarding new Harvester Field Units, the next Harvest Rally and any upcoming and on-going Harvesting Projects, a offering is received for current and future Harvesting Projects and for funding the rally, as needed .  The Harvesters are then released into intimate praise and worship, wherein they begin to minister unto the Lord and receive the manifestation of His presence for whatever needs they may have.  Then the Holy Spirit is asked to direct various Harvesters to share their testimonies and then to release the ministry of any special guest speakers that were invited.  Once the rally is filled with an atmosphere of Faith and Hope, the Holy Spirit is invited to minister salvation, healings, deliverance and the release of His empowering.    Then the Holy Spirit is asked to speak to various Harvesters throughout the meeting hall in regards to the Harvesting Projects that He wants them to either lead and/or participate in at the time and place of His choosing.  Finally, the Harvesters and their family and friends are asked to respond to what God has been doing in their lives and to gather in one of three area in the meeting hall, either for Salvation, Healing & Deliverance or the Release and Commissioning into a Harvesting Project.  In the areas of the meeting hall, other designated Harvesters are there to pray for them and to facilitate the further work of the Holy Spirit in their lives.  These designated Harvesters minister to those that respond, secure their contact information for follow-up and if appropriate, corporately introduce some of them to testify to what God has just done in their lives at the rally.   The Harvest Rally Commanders then close the rally with prayer, praise and rejoicing.
