FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE A New Movement is Launched in the Earth!International Harvesters establishes its initial Website on the Internet. August 1, 2002 -- Portland, Oregon. Throughout history various individuals with varying new technologies and/or ideas have sparked movements that have transformed communities, states, nations and the world. In recent modern history, one such individual was Cyrus Hall McCormick, the creator of the "Virginia Reaper" and the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company, which later became the International Harvester Company. In the 1800's, McCormick was the catalyst that helped transform United States and the world from a farm based society to an industrial based society. In his day, 90 percent of the U.S. population, was required to farm to meet the nation's needs, wherein today fewer than 2 percent are directly involved in farming. His invention and his companies freed the population from the soil, wherein they could turn their energies to industry, science, the arts and other means to improve the quality of life in the United States and around the world. He was also a pioneer in business techniques, providing easy credit to enable farmers to pay for his machines from increased harvests, written performance guarantees and advertising to convince farmers to buy his reaper. He helped make farmers mechanically minded and willing to try new ideas. That willingness, in turn, made American farmers the most efficient in the world. In more recent modern history, another such individual was Demos Shakarian, the founder of the Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International. In the 1900's, Shakarian was the catalyst that helped transform the religious life of the United States and the world from a clergy based Christianity to a laity based Christianity. In his day, most of the Christian population of the United States and the world, participated in a historical denominational church, which was primarily administered by clergy that were assigned by their membership to do the work of the ministry. Today, wherein Christianity is growing at least 3.5 times faster than the world's population, it is the average Christian that is being challenged and motivated to do the work of the ministry. His vision and his organization was utilized by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to release the fullness of His Spirit into almost every facet of Christianity. He helped bring the fullness of God's Holy Spirit to mainline denominational churches, in that in 1945 only 16 million of the world's Christians enjoyed a life filled with miracles, healings, personal prophesies and financial prosperity. Today, at least 554 million of the world's Christians experience such a life that was demonstrated by 1st century believers in the Bible's Book of Acts, written by a Israeli physician named Luke. He was also a pioneer in the business community, wherein his generation of middle-class businessmen and professionals from Baptists to Roman Catholics received Spirit-filled experiences with God to Spirit-directed ministry opportunities, because they were attracted to his neutral non-church dinner meetings. Today, history is being made wherein the foundations that were established by both McCormick (a Presbyterian) and Shakarian (a Pentecostal) are being utilized to foster and encourage a new movement in the earth, that of city-wide revival, renewal and restoration in communities and nations around the world. International Harvesters is by no means the only catalyst that is bringing about this global work of God's Holy Spirit in our modern society, but it may prove to be a foundational strategy for impacting our present generation and the generations to come in the next "Messianic" millennium.
