Faith & Truth

A illustration of the relationships of Faith, Doubt, Truth and Lies shown mathematically follows:

Faith, Doubt, Truth and Lies each have a value of one, either positive or negative, and the sum of these values equal the rate of growth either toward or away from God.  Since God is infinite in love, power, knowledge, all things positive, it is impossible to measure actual growth in man's relationship with God.  One can only attempt to perceive the rate of growth at which they are moving toward or away from a relationship with God.

Note: The following charts are only for explanation of the relationship of faith, doubt, truth and lies.  Following the charts is an application model that could be used if one could measure the percentage of faith to doubt and truth to lies that existed within their spirit and soul.  Such measures would give the percentage rate of growth that is being experienced by man in his relationship with God.  Since such measures exist within the spiritual world and can not be perceived by man's limited understanding of that world it is impossible to use these charts other than to give an understanding of the value in seeking faith and truth rather than doubt and lies.

Explanation Charts:

The best combination for the best progression toward God is the have faith and truth with no doubt and no lies.

The next best combinations for the next best progression toward God is to have faith and doubt in truth and no lies; or to have faith and no doubt in truth and in lies; or to have only faith; or to have only truth.  These last two combinations are the beginnings of discovering God.

Combinations for no progression toward God is to have faith, doubt, truth and lies; or to have no faith, no doubt, no truth and no lies; or to have only faith in lies; or to have only doubt in truth; or to have only truth and lies with no faith and no doubt; or to have only faith and doubt with no truth or no lies.  These combinations cause no progression neither toward God or away from God.

Application Model:

The combination of faith and doubt equals 100%, and the combination of truth and lies equals 100%, then these two figures are added together to obtain the rate of growth toward or away from God.

The meaning of the rate of growth within each person depends upon whether the person is moving toward or away from God.  If the person is moving toward God (is in relationship with God) and the rate is positive, the growth is increasing - getting faster - toward God.  If it is negative, the growth is decreasing - getting slower - toward God.  If the person is moving away from God (is not in a relationship with God) and the rate is positive, the growth is decreasing - getting slower - away from God or increasing - getting faster- toward God.  If it is negative, the growth is increasing - getting faster - away from God or decreasing - getting slower- toward God.

From this application model, example one reveals that a high percentage of faith and truth will yield a high positive rate of growth.  Example two reveals that a moderate percentage of faith and truth will will yield a moderate positive rate of growth.  Example three reveals that a high percentage of doubt and a high percentage of truth will yield a negative percentage rate of growth..  Example four reveals that a high percentage of doubt and a high percentage of lies yield a high negative percentage rate of growth.  Example five reveals that a high percentage of faith and a high percentage of lies yield a low negative rate of growth.
